62 U.S. teams hiring · 2,148+ bilingual contractors · 5.3-day average time to hire

Traditional BPO

High overhead, long contracts, scripted agents. Great for Fortune 500 volume. Wrong for a 60-person team that needs flexibility.

Freelance marketplaces

Cheap on paper. You handle the vetting, the contracts, the payments, the compliance, and the turnover. Hidden cost shows up later.

HireSwiftlee

Pre-vetted bilingual contractors in Mexico. Matching, contracts, weekly payouts, and compliance handled. One all-in hourly rate.

The side-by-side

Twelve dimensions that actually matter.

No checkmarks for the sake of checkmarks. Each row is something a hiring manager actually has to figure out — and what each option does about it.

The math

A bilingual CSR, three different ways.

Same role, same hours, three different price tags. Annualized over 2,080 hours (one full-time-equivalent), here's what each option actually costs your team.

🏢
U.S. internal hire. $52K base + ~22% benefits + 42 days to hire = ~$63K all-in, year one.
🚚
Traditional BPO. $30/hr × 2,080 = $62,400. Minimum 12-month contract. You don't pick the person.
HireSwiftlee. $11/hr × 2,080 = $22,880 all-in. Cancel anytime with 14 days' notice. You pick the contractor.

A real example

From posted role to working contractor in 6 days.

Mid-Atlantic Dental Group needed three bilingual CSRs to handle Spanish-speaking patient calls. They'd been trying internal hires for two months and were ready to give up.

Their internal benchmark for the same role had been 47 days at $58K all-in. With HireSwiftlee, time-to-hire dropped to 6 days and fully-loaded cost dropped to $11/hour. Six months later, all three contractors are still on the team.

Names and identifying details adjusted; the numbers are real and from a current customer.

The honest version

The objections our prospects actually raise — and the truth.

"My customers won't accept an accent."
Every contractor passes a recorded voice sample reviewed against U.S.-conversation standards. We rate B2 / C1 / native, and you only see candidates at the level you ask for. The accent question is a real one — we've measured it instead of dismissing it.
"What about time zones?"
Mexico is in the same continental timezone band as the U.S. — CDMX is on Central time, Tijuana on Pacific. Your contractor works your hours, not a 12-hour offset. No graveyard shifts.
"How is this legal / what about taxes?"
Contractors are independent (1099-equivalent in Mexico). We collect W-8BEN forms automatically, payments are documented and audit-ready, and your tax exposure is identical to using any U.S.-based independent contractor.
"What if the person doesn't work out?"
30-day replacement guarantee. We re-source at no cost. After 30 days, end the engagement with 14 days' notice — no termination fees, no penalty. The contract was built to be exited.
"We're regulated — HIPAA, PCI, SOX."
SOC 2 Type I controls in place. GDPR DPA available. HIPAA-ready BAA template for healthcare clients on request. We talk to your security team directly — no hand-waving.
"We tried Upwork and it didn't work."
That's the most common origin story for our customers. The difference is curated vs. open: 24-hour ranked shortlist, pre-vetted profiles, in-platform contracts and payments. You're not sorting through 200 cold profiles anymore.
FAQ

The short answers.

What roles do you fill?
Customer service, sales (SDR/ISA), tech support (Tier 1 & 2), virtual assistants, transaction coordinators, billing & insurance verification, listing managers, order & returns, and most back-office roles. If a role needs fluent English + Spanish and can be done remotely, we've probably staffed it.
How is pricing structured?
One hourly rate, all-in. Tiered by role complexity: $7/hr (entry support) to $16/hr (senior bilingual sales / specialized). No setup fees, no subscription, no per-seat license. You pay only for approved hours each week. See pricing for the full breakdown.
How quickly can I have someone working?
Median time from posted role to active contractor is 5.3 days. Fastest we've seen is two days. Slowest (a niche bilingual nurse role) was three weeks. You'll know within the first 24 hours whether the matching pool is deep for your specific need.
What contract terms apply?
No minimums. Cancel any engagement with 14 days' written notice — no termination fee. 30-day replacement guarantee if a contractor isn't working out. Master agreement is a standard MSA; statements of work attach per contractor. We send a redlinable version to any legal team that wants one.
Who actually employs the contractor?
Contractors are independent — they have a contractor agreement with HireSwiftlee, and you have a services agreement with us. We handle payment, tax documentation, and dispute mediation. You direct the work; we handle the back office.
Can I interview before committing?
Yes — every shortlist comes with video intros and voice samples, plus the option to run a 30-minute video interview through the platform (we provide the Google Meet link). No commitment until you sign the SOW.
What if my company's security team needs to review?
Common ask. We have a security one-pager, SOC 2 report (Type I), and a vendor questionnaire response ready to share. For larger clients, we'll join a security review call directly. See security.
